Warranty
With us you buy speedcubes and brain teasers of good quality. We stand behind our products and therefore offer a 12 month guarantee.
What is covered under warranty?
The guarantee applies to all manufacturing defects. These are defects that have occurred during the production process. Think of:
- Manufacturing or factory defects
- Missing parts upon receipt
- Damage to material upon receipt
- Defective upon receipt
What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not apply to damage caused by:
- Normal wear and tear
- Incorrect or unskilled use
- Damage due to self-repair
- Damage or defects caused by falling
- Damage caused by a child
- Missing parts upon receipt, reported later than 7 days after receipt
- Damage to material upon receipt, reported later than 7 days after receipt
How do you claim the warranty?
If your speedcubes or brain teasers break within the warranty period, you can claim this with us. You can do this via the returns page . Make sure you return the defective item in the original packaging, if possible.
You must include the following with your complaint:
- A copy of your purchase receipt
- A clear description of the damage
- Photos of the damage
We will process your complaint as soon as possible. We aim to process all claims within 14 days. If the damage is covered by the warranty, we will repair or replace the toy free of charge. Sometimes it is possible to repair a defective item, you can read more about this below.
Tips for maintaining the warranty
To maintain the warranty, it is important that you maintain the toy properly. Therefore, always read the instructions before using the toy.
Here are some toy maintenance tips:
- Read the instructions before using the toy.
- Store the toy in a dry and clean place.
- Do not use the toy for purposes other than those for which it is intended.
- Do not repair the toy yourself if parts become loose.
Following these tips will reduce the chance of the toy breaking and keep the warranty valid.
Repair
If your toy breaks, it is sometimes possible that it can be repaired.
If you want to have toys repaired or need to be repaired, you can request this from us. Send an email to info@mcubes.nl.
You must include the following with your repair request:
- A copy of your purchase receipt
- A clear description of the damage
- Photos of the damage
The cost of the repair depends on the severity of the damage. If the damage is under warranty, the cost of the repair is for us. If the damage is not under warranty, the cost of the repair is for the buyer.
We will process your repair request as soon as possible. If the damage can be repaired, we will send you a quote. If you accept the quote, we will repair the toy and return it as soon as possible.
